EndlessOats Posted September 30 Report Share Posted September 30 Spoiler Looking through handbook and found entities called Game:item-creature-villager-female-generic and Game:item-creature-villager-male-generic. Model is what you'd expect. I'm not sure if these were here last update but they're lumped in at the end of the entity list along with the models for both the new mobs. Calling it now: New lore locations will be populated villages. Likely not functional in the sense you can't really live there (yet) but populated for sure. Additional evidence for this is that all the new lore location stuff is basically pristine versions of ruins clutter, including boilers and machinery like what's at the archives. The traders mention villages, it stands to reason this has been planned for a long time. Personally I think this is probably the best implementation of villages (except the one idea I had but this works quite well also) and I'm pretty happy with it if this is the way it goes. Considered keeping it to myself so as not to ruin the surprise in the off chance I'm right but I get Prophet of Troy'd daily anyway so there's likely little danger. Sick update so far even without full implementation, these devs rock so much I believe in them enough to think the mount update might also be the secret surprise village update.
