  1. CarryCapacity is a mod which allows picking up blocks and carrying them in your hands and on your back. This was made possible with the help of the awesome @Tyron providing some code samples with the official example mods. You can pick up chests, baskets, crates, barrels, planters, vessels and anvils by sneaking and holding right click with empty hands - that includes your offhand slot!   3. Hey modders, In order to further support your modding efforts I've begun work on an official mod database that is tailor-made for uploading and downloading mods. A rudimentary version of it is now online at https://mods.vintagestory.at In the very near future I will develop an API for this site that directly integrates your mods into the client. Ideally we'd want players to connect to modded servers and auto-install all required mods with the press of a button. Happy modding!

  6. Here's the thing - I'm a huge fan of Vintage Story and especially its wilderness survival mode. I also have a keen interest in real life primitive survival. This mod is my attempt to meld the two to provide you with a more realistic early game experience, and is largely inspired by extreme survival shows like Naked & Afraid.   15. Don't poll core gameplay features (combat) alongside content features (everything else). People will always vote for the content updates, and you'll never end up working on the core stuff. Combat/movement overhauls need to happen alongside the content updates. This game still has a massive "clunkiness" problem, as every person I've showed it to has complained about the combat and movement feeling bad, despite the rest of the game being great.

  16. VSProspectorInfo This mod takes the results from your prospecting pick attempts and stores the results automatically, on the appropriate chunk in the world map. This mod allows you to get salt from water by leaving it to dry in a barrel, I decided that I would release this as unlike the other mods that provide similar functionality, this does not change any world generation. In fact you can add or remove this mod and there shouldn't be any lasting effects on your save from it. One thing to note is that because of this, all water counts.   24. Hey, gals and guys! Ever since I wrote my first mod for Vintage Story, I thought about inability of viewing all my mod's content. I discovered a way to add my own creative tab later (thanks @Spear and Fang and his Primitive Survival), but that is good only for players who able to switch to creative. So, I decided to add all creative tabs to survival handbook! Because - why not? If you for some reason don't like to click tabs (perhaps, because there's too much of it!!) you can use the sharp "#" symbol prefix to filter what you need (that's actually just tab "names" in code):

  41. Long story short, I think, we need more door variations! And why don't allow players to design their own doors using awesome Chisel mechanics? All you have to do is to decide how thick your door should be, chisel the corresponding parts and smite the desired door (variations of 2, 3, 4 and 5 voxels-wide doors available).   43. Vanilla+ by JabZ My first themepack and the first themepack for VS in general! Here it is, Vanilla+ improved models in a Vanilla friendly way. I got inspired to create this themepack by the odd looking "nubs" on some weapons and tools, the sword and spear most notably. Then I expanded V+ to blocks aswell, like cheese and barrels.
