  1. I'm a big fan of the crafting, survival, and sim genre. In addition to Vintage story, I also played Stardew Valley and I recently bought the expansion for The Sims 4 - Cottage Living. And so I thought to myself... how good it would be if there was a game that would be in the style of Stardew Valley (building your own farm, living together with the villagers and improving) and the graphic style of The Sims 4 (semi-realistic style). And then I remembered that Vintage story has a very well-developed system of farming and raising animals. My opinion is that Vintage Story has great foundations for someone to make a mod that would transform the game into a Farming sim. Of course, I am aware that it is a big task and that it is not easy, but I am interested in your opinion about it.
  2. The voxel outline in clay forming is barely visible. I'm currently playing rc 1.19 and I don't remember the voxel outline being so faintly visible. I use fire clay. I don't know if it might be due to the mods I have installed? Mods that I have installed: - Animal cages - Cob Tradercamps - Common lib - Config lib - Compost from grass - Extra overlays - Fields and plateaus - Field of salt - Outlaw mod - plank stick - Rust creatures - simple footsteps - stats HUD continuous - Stone quarry - Temporal gears stack - vsim gui
  3. They should include in the game that when a tool or weapon breaks, a part of the metal is returned, I think it is quite logical and realistic. I know there is a mod like this, but I think it should be included in the vanilla game too.

  5. Maybe I haven't figured out how yet, but I don't think that mechanic exists in the game yet. So, I suggest implementing in the game mechanics of basket, hunter backpack, etc. recycling. If you put a knife and..for example a basket in the crafting grid, you would get part of the reeds back, if you put, for example, a knife and a hunter backpack, you would get half of the leather back.

  8. Hmm, since you put it that way... story might fit into the world anyways Here is a story how Tree ent was made.... As far as I understand the story of Vintage Story, the world was ravaged by an unknown disease that turned people into drifters. Right? This same disease could affect the trees. As we all know, trees are also living beings, multicellular organisms, and as the disease affected people, it also affected certain trees and they mutated and developed some sort of consciousness and the ability to move. Since the Tree ent is aware of its origin, it feels obliged to protect the forest and support its growth and development (because he is part of it) Why are drifters afraid of tree ent? In essence, drifters used to be humans and part of that identity remained with them. Bearing this in mind, it should be noted that before the virus they had not seen beings like the Tree ent and despite their transformation and clouded mind, the tree ent is still unknown to them and they are afraid of it.

New creature : Tree Ent Spawning: - rarely spawns in the woods. - spawns most of the time alone and very rarely in pairs About creature: - creature should spawn in the wooded areas and roam the woods freely. - it is passive creature and becomes aggresive if provoked - Drifters are afraid of Tree Ent and they will avoid this creature, so if you see drifters suddenly start to run away you know there is a Tree ent nearby. Creature mehanics: - When spawned it boost tree growth of nearby tree saplings - you could trade with them some tree seeds (seed for a seed) - small chance to summon tree ent when planting tree (tree sapling transform into tree ent when it reach mature state)
  10. I think it would be great if we could have copy/paste option when chiseling (something like in clay forming) where we could copy shape we made to another block. I think that would save a lot of time.
  11. Yea, Ik for limestone, but you cant make mortar without limestone so It's still kinda irritating. and about plants, yes you can burn them, but they need to have greater use-
  12. Just a few suggestions for tweak. LIMESTONE NEEDS TO SPAWN MORE FREQUENTLY: I find it hard to locate limestone in the world. Im 50+ hrs in the game and still didn't find any limestone. I was forced to use commands to fly around a world to find some and I still didn't manage to find any. I think limestone should generate more frequently in the world. PLACABLE STICKS: I think it would be a great edition if we could place sticks in the world just like a firewood or mabye make a boundle of sticks by combining rope and more stacks of sticks. PLANTS T0 DRYGRASS: I find it really frustrating when I have ton of plants in my inventory after teraforming my world with shovel and I don't know what to do with all this plants it could be nice to add ability to transform this plants into dry grass, some type of food for animals or mabye compost.
  13. Simply... When you SHIFT + Right click on one log you will get ax in a log. This could be another way to store your axe and it would be nice decoration block. Picture for example.

  15. Really short and simple. I find flying(in creative) in game a bit wierd, especially when I'm building something and flying. I find it frustrating to control character in air when building something. As someone who came from minecraft I think you should just implement same fly mode from minecraft. As you come from minecraft too I think you know what I'm talking about.

  17. That would be awesome too. I modded my game and when I saw those worms I thought they were just part of a mod, apparently they were not
  18. NEW LIGHT SOURCE: Fireflies in the jar. First you will need to craft glass jar with one glass and chisel (mabye glasworking later idk) Then you need to go into the wild and right click on fireflies with glass jar to collect fireflies. Fireflies in jar will emit 11 levels of greenish glow. NEW WATER STORAGE CONTAINER: Same, with glasswork mehanic or some combination of chisel and glass you can make glass bottles, and jars for store pickeled food or liquids.
  19. I have a 2 suggestions for the mechanics of chiseling. Suggestion 1: As with clayworking, it should be possible to transfer the carved shape to another block to avoid constantly repeating the process of chiseling the same shape on other blocks. Suggestion 2: Let's take for example that I want to chisel a table made of 4 blocks of wood. It would be nice to add the ability when I chisel those 4 blocks into one table it becomes one block, if you know what I mean.

There is small list of things that I personally think needs to be changed: - CHANGE: - when you mine some type of stone you shold get automatically cobblestone but leave that you need to use clay for craft stone brick blocks. Explanation: When I mine all the time, these small stones fill my inventory and I soon run out of space for anything else. I think it should be changed that as soon as I mine any type of stone to automatically get a cobblestone block in the inventory. Because at the same time that for every stone block I have to use clay to craft cobblestone it becomes tedious and boring. - stacks for every type of block should be up to 64 Explanation: The fact that some blocks can only stack up to 16 blocks reduces the will to build some larger buildings because simply in the beginning the inventory is too small and the construction becomes a pain in a **. - Tiny bits should be a little bigger though because they are sometimes hard to spot when we break them. - The radius of collecting things from the floor should be larger. Explanation: Due to the small radius of collecting things from the floor, it often happens to me that a lot of things remain on the floor. - ores should be a little more visible underground. REMARK: This is what I think should change. So, my personal opinion.
  21. I presonally think they made mining too complicated and for me after some time it becomes tedious and boring. But it's just my opinion, idk.
  22. You should be able to host a free server for up to 4 friends quickly and easily. The server could be connected via a launcher regardless of which internet server service friend is using. For example: There should be an "Add Friend" option in the main game menu where you would add your friends. After that there should be a “Host free server” option where you could invite friends (up to 4 friends) to join our server. The free server could exclusively be a Vanilla server and would serve for those who do not want to play on public servers but independently with their friends. Such an example of a server stands for example in the game "The Forest" where up to 8 friends can connect via steam and play survival together.
