  1. You might check the discord for a quicker answer. There was a bug in 1.12.5 that was just fixed involving the start menu.
  2. There is a walk through on basic modding for the game in the wiki. It's very helpful.
  3. A block that will run the set command on clicking. This would be incredibly useful for adventure maps to give players items, set/remove effects, set spawn points, etc.
  4. Almost every farmer in the world has dealt with stone piles, in one fashion or another. Not an important feature, but would be nice in a cosmetic/immersive update.
  5. I'm giving away 2 game keys on the r/VintageStory sub on Reddit. Just reply to the post and you're in the drawing on December 23rd. https://www.reddit.com/r/VintageStory/comments/e9dtin/vintage_story_holiday_game_key_giveaway/ Even if you don't need a key, pass this on to your friends and/or just upvote the post. Thanks.
  6. Stuffed drifters you can put on a display stand would be cool.
  7. I was going to suggest skinning drifters. Nice work.
  8. Same here. 1.11 release version. Crash log attached. client-crash.txt
  9. Continuously holding down keys can cause permanent damage to your hands. It's also very painful for some of us who have damaged hands or arthritis. If this could be added, I would be eternally grateful. :)
  10. Bug Report. Cast tool heads do not release from colored tool molds when cooled. Version 1.0.1 For VS 1.9.10 They do release from standard clay molds. Occurs in Creative and Survival.
  11. Epic might be worth looking at. They're going to have a big game giveaway this month, including Subnautica. https://www.techspot.com/news/77757-epic-games-store-goes-live-free-games-surprise.html Edit: If you haven't tried Subnautica, it's amazing. My personal game of the year for 2018.

No worries. Life can be a bear sometimes. As long as you get back up and punch it in the nose, you'll be okay. :) Maybe this will interest you. Epic Games is opening a digital game store online to compete with Steam. They're stated cut of games is 12%. Might be worth checking out. These are the guys who own Fortnite and Unreal. Well, you all take care and have a great Christmas.
  13. I'm too late to vote, but I want to add my input as a former content creator for Curse. I will never have anything to do with them ever again. Amazon/Twitch was only interested in the player base and demoted the modding community to a corner in the basement. They don't moderate their own forums anymore, and they no longer have any standards for what content they accept. It's worse than Technic now. They're only interested in your game to increase their monopoly.
  14. Average FPS went up by 7 on an R7 240. I can't visually see the difference, but every little bit helps. EDIT: Wow, you edited and pulled that while I was typing. lol
  15. If we have oceans, we need to have sharks and other sea critters.
  16. Okay, if it's a planned thing, then yes sooner is better. Seems like that would be a given without needing to vote on it, to me. Tyron is just too good at laying out all the options for us. I feel spoiled. :)
  17. @ Draconicrose, I know right? I think changing the WG too much at this point would mean remaking/rewriting a lot of existing content to fit. Personally, I think animal AI needs improvement. Wolves and Hyenas aren't this aggressive in real life. They're pack hunters and only attack when they have a number advantage. A single wolf attacking a human who is 3 to 4 times their weight would only be done in desperation. They also don't attack everything they see as soon as they see it like they're rabid. Maybe too much to ask of a video AI though.
  18. I agree that more weapon options would be nice, but why eliminate a choice for other players because of personal dislike?
  19. Great article. I've see this too. 90% of the games that have come out in the last year are just crap. They're mobile games that are really only worth a buck or two if sold as an app, but they put them on Steam and ask 15-20 dollars for them. Some of these "games" are just common game engines with little or no content added. I do like that many new indie devs are getting a chance, but there has to be a middle ground here somewhere. Unfortunately, I don't see Gabe Newell caring enough to actually do something about it.
  20. Oh man, Risk. Games would go on for days. I loved the original Warcraft strategy games. A shame they didn't continue those. @Stroam I see games as sports for the brain. You're like a professional athlete, in your mind.
  21. The one that got you hooked. Where you would play it for hours and would think about it even when you weren't playing it. Dungeons and Dragons was the one for me back in '79. The base was snowed in and we were stuck in the barracks, and somebody broke out the dice and books and 14 hours later 3/4 of our characters were dead, but we didn't care. What was yours?
