Vending machine variant: Market stall variant: Trade'o'rug (allows to sale five different items "as-is" for a difference prices - so it's possible to sell food for example): These blocks are used for trading of course! The owner (player who has placed the block down) is able to set the trade (sneak-click): Here Trade'o'mat expects to exchange 4 cattail roots for 1 sack of carrot seeds. 4. Heeey, gals and guys! First of all. ZEEkea is absolutely not affiliated with IKEA But... You've gotta look at it: Almost everything is craftable in survival. "Almost" means - not every night lamp is craftable without recipes of colored glass added by other means. Features: - Tall Lockers and Nightstands contains a number of slots for your storage needs (animated doors and you can see what's inside). - Night lights can be turned on and off to emit a calm colored light forever. - Carpets are actually a crafting component, but can be used as a decoration (you can put it on a floor or walls or even ceiling), they are also chiselable. - Armchairs can be combined into a couches! Or kept separated if holding Shift while placing. - Door bell will ding-dong when someone presses it using RMB. - Freezer will store all your food for a loooong time as long as you provide it with a constant supply of cold Ice. - Curtains can be placed below Curtain Rods and may cover you window from bright light and curious eyes - Candle Holders are convenient way of decorating AND lighting your premises. Craft the Candle Holder, put a Candle in it and fire it up using torch. - And you can also build and furnish your backyard or bar with a help of Benches and Bar stools! - More lamps! Authentic animated door bell! Ore boxes! (all in version 1.4.0): - Tiki Lamps are here! Easy craft, aesthetic look and Light Level of 13! (since version 1.4.6) - Torch Lamps are good enough for those who don't like bees, giving 17 light when filled with 4 torches (available since 1.4.8) And starting from version 1.4.0-B you are able to disable any of mod content via config file (look for it in your VintagestoryData/ModConfig/ZeekeaConfig.json) That's it for now! Have fun! And of course your suggestions and bug reports are welcome! Changelogs and downloads have been moved to MODDB! https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/mod/61 1.4.9-B: - Compatibility fixes for 1.15-pre.1 Older versions: 1.13.4 (no longer maintained!): zeekea_v1.13.4-1.2.1-B.zip 1.14.0+: zeekea_v1.14.0-1.4.8-B.zip 1.15-pre.1: zeekea_v1.15.0-1.4.10.zip
  5. This mod allows players to use pigments as a crayons (in 1.14.0 and later you have to craft these "crayons" literally) and draw on anything around! Five colors are available: Charcoal - Black Lapis Lazuli - Blue Cinnabar - Red Olivine - Green Borax - White Just hold right mouse button while holding one of pigments and draw (1.13.4)! Craft a piece of Blue Clay along with some Resin and a pigment to get yourself a Crayon (1.14.0)! To remove the drawing, just put a block on it. Known issues: - Fast strokes won't be recognized by server and will result in a poor quality of drawing (when save/load the world) - When drawing intersects block boundaries, part of painting can be absent after saving/loading the world Planned features: - Glowing paint (using Glowworms as a source) - Optimization of saving mechanics Changelog: 1.2.2-B: - Compatibility fixes for 1.15-pre.1 Latest Version: 1.13.4 (no longer supported!): cavepaintings_v1_13.4-1.1.2-A.zip 1.14.0: cavepaintings_v1.14.0-1.2-B.zip 1.15-pre.1: cavepaintings_v1.15.0-1.2.2-B.zip
  6. Version 2.1.0 The mod creates a default Item-Packages based on available player-classes and stores in JSON file. As Server-Admin (also in Singleplayer) you can edit this json file by adding the items / blocks with its code. Editing the Item-Package-Json file requires a restart of the Server/Singleplayer. Only the ItemCodes are supported! All Players will be recorded by its uuid, which is created by VintageStory-AccountManagement, and garantues that no one will get the items twice. path: \VintagestoryData\ModConfig\starterpackmod\<world-id>\starterpack.playersreceivedpackage.json You can edit both files, but be sure you know what you are doing with it. HINT for Admins of existing worlds: For your existing players you must allow users to re-select their playerclass to get the package delivered. There is a no API to get that information that a player has already closed that dialog. The mod is regulary thought for multiplayer. Singleplayer is supported also. Known issues: Backpacks / Baskets etc causing client crashes, so blacklisted them by mod-coding - sorry. Download in ModDB [if you like my mods, with a donation you can support me and my work]
  7. Occasionally, in a dusty corner of a library, you may come across an explorer's journal or a letter by a settler, that mentions a rare Golden Wolf. They would describe a fanciful situation where this creature appears, almost out of thin air, and defends them against an attack by wolves or drifters. The image below is of a very old photo that supposedly shows a Golden Wolf quietly resting beside a settler. It is widely regarded as a fake. Changelog Download Golden Wolf v1.0.34.zip
  8. Allows Bushmeat to be used as an ingredient in meals. Bushmeat Meals v1.0.6.zip
  9. This is a very simple mod that makes the creative teleporter usable in survival. First it adds a crafting recipe: To break a teleporter you can right click with a padlock. You can download the 1.13 version of this mod from here: https://github.com/McJty/TpTools/releases/tag/0.2 You can download the 1.14 version of this mod from here: https://github.com/McJty/TpTools/releases/tag/0.3 Let me know what you think
  10. Hi all, this is my first ever mod for Vintage Story. As some of you may know I have made tons of mods on Minecraft already (The One Probe, Lost Cities, RFTools, Deep Resonance, MeeCreeps, ...). This mod was meant more as a learning experience. I had to learn a new language (C# vs Java) and a new modding API. So it's likely there are bugs in this mod. Please let me know if you find any. At this moment this mod adds two items. First there is the Spade: The spade has only one purpose: that's to move a single block of farmland while keeping its stats. There is already another mod that allows you to break farmland but I believe this is more balanced as it doesn't reset the stats but keeps them as they were. Also it can do only one farmland block at a time. The next item is the Seed Bag: The Seed Bag is a bag that can only hold seeds. It has room for 16 slots of seeds. To open the GUI you simply right click it while looking at the air. If you right click it over farmland it will plant the seeds in a 3x3 area. In addition if a Seed Bag is in your hotbar it will automatically collect seeds that you harvest (if there is room) The mod can be downloaded from: For 1.13: https://github.com/McJty/FancyTools/releases/tag/0.2 For 1.14: https://github.com/McJty/FancyTools/releases/tag/0.3 For 1.15: https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/mod/320#tab-files Comments are welcome! You can also look at the source code if you want. No promises on that though. This is my first mod so I may have made lots of mistakes there (I welcome constructive criticism). I have a twitter profile here: https://twitter.com/McJty And a discord server here: https://discord.gg/4wMtFKT Thanks
  11. They seek, they roam, they are hungry. Be prepared to meet your new neighbours from parallel plane, but don't expect the warm welcome. Why are these strange beings here for? Are they eager to capture the land? Or maybe they are just lost? The one thing that is known - they are vile and tough. So, be very careful when dealing with your new neighbours. The mod adds five fantasy entities to make your survival harder and more interesting. Use the file TheNeighboursConfig.json in your VintagestoryData/ModConfig folder to disable monsters which are too scary for your gameplay. File generates automatically after the first game run. Tickling: Tall slow bipedal with huge horn-like outgrowths. It seems that he has no eyes, but he doesn't need it to catch its prey. Parameters: Height: 3.2 Width: 1.2 Health points: 40 Attack Strength: 12 Attack Tier: 3 Shintorickae: Small sharp-tailed insect with a pair of cute eyes which are glows in the dark. The fastest creature of them all and the most dangerous. Can kill you on sight, or run away from you if it feel danger. Parameters: Height: 0.7 Width: 1.8 Health points: 40 Attack Strength: 8 Attack Tier: 3 Brayer: This cold-blooded reptile isn't aggressive. Of course, if left alone. Otherwise, you can check a sharpness of its teeth. Parameters: Height: 0.5 Width: 1.6 Health points: 30 Attack Strength: 6 Attack Tier: 2 Turtor: This one looks like usual Turtle. And it prefers to stay in water all the time. Doesn't like to be chased, so, it's kinda challenge to catch one if you urgently want to eat something unusual. Parameters: Height: 0.4 Width: 0.8 Health points: 30 Glowshroom: This mushroom glows in a darkness, emitting blueish particles and making strange sounds. Effects beside this is currently unknown. Ampel: The only being, which appear with its family. Ampel females are larger than males and more aggressive. Children however are calm and friendly most of time as long as you're leaving them alone. Ampels are natural enemies to wolves, so if you're lucky enough, you can watch that deadly battle and stay alive... before winner decide to pursue his next victim. Parameters (male/female/child): Height: 1.3/1.5/0.9 Width: 0.9/1.0/0.6 Health points: 40/50/20 And a something special for collectors That's it for now. And I didn't reveal all the secrets Latest release (1.15.2): https://mods.vintagestory.at/download?fileid=1996 (forum doesn't allow me to upload this version directly, so, it's located at my website for now) (1.14.0+): theneighbours_v1.14.0-0.4.8.zip Changelog: 0.4.10: - Possibly fixed the crash when touching Glowshrooms
  12. Vanilla+ by JabZ My first themepack and the first themepack for VS in general! Here it is, Vanilla+ improved models in a Vanilla friendly way. I got inspired to create this themepack by the odd looking "nubs" on some weapons and tools, the sword and spear most notably. Then I expanded V+ to blocks aswell, like cheese and barrels. Adding some details to it that don't disrupt the game's design. The goal of this themepack is to improve on the base game models without losing the vanilla charm. Most notably, the "nubs" on the longblade and scythe have been removed along with additions to other tools and blocks, see for yourself down below! DISCLAIMER! The client side version of this mod is now called "Vanilla+ Legacy" and does not need to be installed by everyone on a server, but it's missing the chest model for compatibility sake. For the version with updated chest models both the server and all users need to install the "Vanilla+ 1.X.X" version! Known Incompatibilities: More variants mod (Fix WIP) Patreon: I now have a patreon where you can support my work financially and reap some cool benefits! https://www.patreon.com/JabZ?fan_landing=true Version 1.6.6 Changelog: V+ is now tagged as a "Content" mod to allow things like chests to be remodelled Chests have been given a metal trim Version 1.6.5 Changelog: Completely Overhauled the bucket from 2D sprite to 3D Features Barrel now looks sturdier thanks to an additional plank on all sides Ladders now have 4 steps instead of 3 Trapdoors now have crossbracing Displaycase is now 1 voxel taller Bushmeat is thinner, indicating it's low nutritional value Redmeat is thicker, indicating it's high nutritional value Onion are now bigger, everyone loves a nice large onion Version 1.5.5 Changelog: Added a more "round" ish look to all sorts of cheese. Corrected some misalignments on tools Preview Images: Downloads: Vanilla+ (v1.6.6).zip Vanilla+ Legacy.zip
  13. LordDan's Surface Translocators This content-only mod adds Translocators to the surface world generation in three different variations. Existing vanilla Translocators remain untouched. (MOD NOW MOVED TO THE NEW MOD DIRECTORY) This is mostly a 'toe-in-the-water' release - I have many other ideas for housing these translocators but first need to see if there is a need for it, as such, please let me know if you find this useful and would like to see more variations. This is also a first VS mod for me, whilst I have tested it as best as I can and made efforts to keep them fairly rare it may not be perfect. lorddans-surface-translocators-b1.zip

  15. Adds Rope Bridges for all wood types (and sticks) Recipes Changelog Download Rope Bridges v1.1.0 for VS1.15.zip Rope Bridges v1.0.7 for VS1.14.zip Rope Bridges v1.0.7 for VS1.13.zip Previous Versions
  16. Adds Acorns as a food source. Also adds a Wooden Mallet which is needed to crack the Acorn shells. Acorns (Oak seeds) drop from Oak tree leaves and are highly nutritious. Acorn flour is gluten-free. It must be mixed with another flour and water to make bread dough. It gives a 50% nutrition boost to bread. Acorns can also be fed to pigs. "There is no food that means more to me than the acorn, for the acorn fulfills both a promise and a fantasy: that the forest will provide for me. When I gaze across the [valley] I see more than scenery. I see thousands of acres of bounty, millions of pounds of delicious food dropped from the crowns of countless trees, waiting to be gathered by eager hands. I see more food than I could ever eat—more than I can even fathom. A wilderness and an orchard in one." ...from "Nature’s Garden: A Guide to Identifying, Harvesting, and Preparing Edible Wild Plants" by Samuel Thayer. At some point I'll add Acorn Griddle Cakes, too. These can be made without adding another flour. Changelog Download For VS 1.15 Acorns v0.4.0 for VS 1.15.zip For VS 1.14 and earlier Acorns v0.3.2.zip Previous Versions

  18. Ho-ho-ho fellow Vintarians! Christmas is here! More Screenshots: This pure decorative mod was made by my lovely girlfriend (with a bit of help from me ) for your XMas needs For 1.13.4 and 1.14.0 (same mod version): xmastime_v1.13.4-0.2-B.zip For 1.15-pre.1: tradeomat_v1.15.0-1.5.7.zip
  19. This small mod adds two functions: 1. It keeps track of players deaths (on server as well) and creates local file (called deathcounter.txt, located in %appdata%\roaming\vintagestoryData) with only one string - the number of player deaths. So during the stream you can output it in an overlay. 2. To view your Top-5 of deaths, use /dc command (privilege is .Chat). 3. If player dies, a WayPoint is created automatically, and Top-5 is also sent to player. Since 1.1.0: 4. Creation of WayPoint is customizable with the config file (%appdata%\roaming\vintagestoryData\ModConfig\StreamDCConfig.json). You can choose whether to create the waypoint at all, or change it's color and icon. Suggestions are welcome! 1.15-pre.1: streamdc_v1.15.0-1.1.1.zip 1.14: streamdc_v1.14-1.1.0.zip
  20. modBooks! Latest version, download: GitHub/modbooks What to expect: This mod adds books and paper to write anything to share with your friends and server community featuring VintageStory's VTML parser. Be sure to check out the wiki page on the parser in order to understand all its functions! Writing will be done via the Book Editor that allows you to add up to 20 pages for books and two for papers. There is an extensive help entry in your survival handbook (default press "h" ingame) to help you on your journey how iron ink, writing tools and books are made. If you want to write anything you will need to craft various items: pencils, quills and inkwells! But an inkwell is incomplete without first chemically crafting you own iron ink: Once you have mastered the art of making ink and pencils you can start to make books you like! Books can be crafted in various colors, so you have some options: Be sure to make quests and share stories with your friends! I hope you enjoy this mod, have fun! Please help me find bugs and report them here! Thanks
  21. This mod was designed for use on a server with emphasis on trade and community. It simply adds a recipe that allows players to exchange either one temporal gear for five rusty gears or five rusty gears for one temporal gear. If you'd like the change the amount that is exchanged, you can edit the mod's recipe directly [CurrencyExchange_V1.0/assets/currencyexchange/recipes/grid/] From there you go edit the quantity in order to change the amount that should be exchanged. I'd like to add a way to configure it much easier in another release, but for now this should do. Sorry about that! Note: This is my first mod and, though it is small, I did enjoy making it! I'm excited to try out larger projects in the future! CurrencyExchange_V1.0.zip
  22. makes all drifter types have a higher rate of dropping rusty gears Type Original Mod Surface 0% 10% Deep 2% 20% Tainted 5% 35% Corrupt 7% 45% Nightmare 10% 60% MoreRustyGears.zip
  23. Installed the 1.14.0 pre9 version. It's displayed as pre 8 in game. All pre 9 additions are present. Had a freeze and saw my cpu maxed out. I will try loading in entity safe mode and see what happens.
