  1. Feeling a little bit lonely around the base? Wish someone would come and visit sometime? This is a very simple mod allows you to create inns for travelling merchants. In order to create an inn, you need to craft a welcome mat and place it in an area without another mat nearby. You will need a bed close to the welcome mat, as well as a container with food in it for your guests. They will not take cooked meals like porridge, but will eat things like bread, cooked meat, and other simple foods. (They will eat honey AND take the bowl for themselves.) Merchants can be any of the type of traders found in game. They come every 3-4 days and stay for 1 day. You cannot place any block above the mat or it will break. If your guests enjoyed their stay they will even leave you a little gift for your hospitality. Drifters will hunt and kill traders now, and dead guests do not leave gifts! Pictures Let me know of any bugs or feedback you may have. Have fun being innkeeper! https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/mod/49 Disclaimer: Please post any bug reports, suggestions, and feedback on the forum page of this mod. Anywhere else, such as Discord, will be ignored!
  2. Hey, gals and guys! Ever since I wrote my first mod for Vintage Story, I thought about inability of viewing all my mod's content. I discovered a way to add my own creative tab later (thanks @Spear and Fang and his Primitive Survival), but that is good only for players who able to switch to creative. So, I decided to add all creative tabs to survival handbook! Because - why not? If you for some reason don't like to click tabs (perhaps, because there's too much of it!!) you can use the sharp "#" symbol prefix to filter what you need (that's actually just tab "names" in code): But, as you probably know, not every mod adds its own creative tab. So, for the rest of mods I added the ability to filter content by modid! Just type it in search area prefixed by "@" (no, I haven't heard about Minecraft and JEI ). You want more? Well, I can also offer you the tremendous system of Bookmarks! Now you can bookmark any Item or Block page (no custom pages or guides yet, at least for now, sorry), using the most convenient button at the bottom of the page, and it will stick into dedicated category named "Bookmarks"! Oh yeah! And a little bonus! Now you can see the possible quantity outcome from your grid-crafting recipes. It's maybe not the most convenient way to display this information, but it's the only one I could accomplish without redesigning the Item page completely. Version 1.2.3 fixes names of renamed chiseled blocks in inventory. Now if you renamed your masterpiece, the correct name will be displayed on tooltip (requires server-side!) Version 1.2.4 adds "collectable code" search symbol - $. Use this prefix to search for collectables which codes contain search sequence. $iron for example will result in all collectables made of iron, but not iron ore (because it doesn't contain "iron" in its code). Version 1.2.7 adds Mod Name info to Collectibles (can be switched off in config). That's it. This simple and incredibly useful (at least for me ). Latest client-only version (1.14.2+): survivalcats_v1.14.2-1.2.2.zip Latest client-server version (1.15.2): survivalcats_v1.15.2-1.2.10.zip 1.14.2+: survivalcats_v1.14.2-1.2.7.zip Changelog: 1.2.10: - Compatibility fixes for 1.15.2
  3. Pols Server Utilities 1.2.1 This mod will add some useful commands for servers such as /home and /spawn. Note: This mod works for both server and clients. It also works as standalone version on servers so no need for clients to have it. Everyone Commands: This will list commands all players can. /home works by teleporting the player to their current spawn point. This can be set by using a Temporal gear. /home [name] teleports the player to a home they named. /sethome [name] will create a players home with that name. /homelist will display a list of the players homes. /delhome [name] will delete a player home they named. /spawn just teleports you to the world spawn location. AKA where you spawn for the first time. /me [message] will let players talk in the 3rd person. /uptime shows the servers current uptime since last restart. /warp [name] will teleport you to a warp an admin has created. /warplist will show all available warps that are on the server. /cooldown will show how long you have left to wait to be able to teleport again. /quit [message] will show everyone a message then will disconnect you from the server. Very useful for rage quitting with a reason /players will show online players as well as a count. I know .online exists but i didn't like how it looked and well... discovered it after I already made it lol. Admin Commands/Info: This will list all commands only admins can use. /saveconfig will save the config file. Handy to save the config before editing the config file. /loadconfig will load the config file. Handy if you made changes to the config file when the server is running. /heal will heal the admin for 100% HP and 50%(for some reason) food. /setwarp [name] will set a public warp for all players to use. /delwarp [name] deletes a warp. The config file is saved when the server is shutting down and loaded upon startup. There is also a server message you can set to broadcast to all players however often you want(in seconds). This can be set in the config file that is generated on first boot since the mod has been added. Config Location: AppData\Roaming\VintagestoryData\ModConfig\PolsServerUtilities\[WORLD NAME]. Note: Location may vary depending on your setup. Inside the config folder will be a folder for each wold you have used the mod with. Each world will have its own configs. Other Notes: There is a cooldown setting for spawn and homes but that isn't actually implemented yet so the settings do nothing for now. Don't remove them tho or you will run into troubles. /home without any name still requires you to use a Temporal gear. This is intentional since /home is so fast it should require at least some effort for the speed of going home quickly. /home with a name however doesn't require a Temporal gear. Mod Version: 1.2.1 Game Version: 1.15.X+ Planned Features: A tips system that will show tips every so often(if you have tips to add feel free to private message me). Sleeping will sleep through the entire night. Random teleport(just need to figure out how to place the player at terrain level) A friends list. Might be used to allow friends to use your home teleports and maybe other things? More as I think of some. Next Update Features(1.?.?): If you have any suggestions feel free to let me know. I'm still new to modding this game but i'm getting better every day. 4. Long story short, I think, we need more door variations! And why don't allow players to design their own doors using awesome Chisel mechanics? All you have to do is to decide how thick your door should be, chisel the corresponding parts and smite the desired door (variations of 2, 3, 4 and 5 voxels-wide doors available). Place doors where you want it (only two blocks horizontally for now), and apply chiseled blocks to it. And even more! It is possible to attach the "Static" part to the door to create an effect of non-rectangular door (just chisel it and insert into panel after the main door part is installed) To remove static part or panel, just shift-right click the door with empty hand. Enjoy! How to use (video with my awful english :D): Changelog: 1.0.5-B: - Compatibility fixes for 1.15-pre.1 Latest release (for 1.15-pre.1): fancydoors_v1.15.0-1.0.5-B.zip 1.14.2+: fancydoors_v1.14.2-1.0.4-B.zip

  6. Currency Coins I have no clue how to add a picture to this post. Not much to say about it, just pay your rent and sell stuff. You can make a coin mold with clay & cast your own coins! For Serverowners: There is a creative mold for Coins with the stamp "VS". So you can stop that players generate to much money. There will be still the normal coins without the Stamp. But you can just tell them thats fake money. Todo-List - Add Coinpiles - Add Doubloons - Add remelting-recipes (No idea yet, if i really want that, raises currency value) - Add Coin Bags - Cosmetic Blocks for Vaults (Not sure on this one, but would be nice) - Brands maybe, like the VS Coins just for normal players.
