  3. Found a bug that allows you to dupe in multiplayer. You can dupe any tool or armor by clicking with someone on it in the same time . Tools are duped on the rack, and the armor on the dummy. At first I was surprised because the object behaved strangely, and then completely disappeared. Moreover, the duped object and the original disappeared. We decided to restart the server. And after the restart, there were two tools / armor.
  4. Edit: does not happen anymore in 1.13 stable Temperature was within range. At my first harvest I got 1 from 5 mature cabbages, the second try was 5 from 6 and the third 4 from 6.
  5. Basically, what the title says. I tried multiple times to create a new world in pre.4 with both survival and exploration default settings except seasons turned off and the game crashes every time at "Return again", both upon creating and when trying to load the existing world.   6. So I found and repaired a static translocator, but when I step on the square it doesn't teleport me anywhere. Game version is 1.12.8. Any suggestions?
  7. Detailing a bug within Vintage Story, regarding Wooden Axles and Angled Gears. When logging into a server, if the angled gears are on a chunk border, the subsequent line of wooden angles will fail to connect.

  9. Hello all, I just bought the game and installed it on macOS. In the main menu mouse clicks are not always registering. But more important, when I start a game the mouse only works when a dialog is open. But otherwise no mouse movement will have any effect on looking in any direction. In other words, I can only walk using WSDA, but no turning by mouse. if I'm not in in full screen mode the macOS dock will appear on top of the game window. if I'm in full screen mode then nothing happens when I move the mouse. I do notice that both left and right clicks are working and also the scroll wheel is working, just not the moving (looking). My setup: iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017) macOS Mojave v10.14.6 Vintage Story v1.10.12 I also (manually) tried mono version v5.16.0 and v6.0.0 (latest) all with the same outcome.   12. I picked up a bucket of a trader's, and it gave me the bucket before replacing what I took, I did this again and it gave me a second one. I doubt there is a limit to this free buckets.
  13. Playing an Echo Chamber during low Stability then consuming a Time Cog will cause the pitch of the Echo chamber to retain whatever incorrect pitch it was running at the time, when it should restore to the intended pitch of the Archive.
  14. Dear Vintage Story Team, recently I stated changing the German translation to help improving it. I changed some translations in the "\assets\game\lang\de.json" file, used the ModMaker Tool to get these changes in a separate file and then changed them online in the Vintage Story Translation Center (https://vintagestory.oneskyapp.com/). After that i started the game and looked if i could add some more, I went to the "Create new World" section and discovered that under the Advanced settings, none of the values are translated. So i searched for these in the translation file and found them at the end of the file. They were all translated but none of them showed up in the game. I looked into the text above them, trying to find any problem that could create problems with the json parser, so the parser is not loading these, but i found nothing. All translations above are working and there were no formating issues or something else (that i could find). So i wanted to ask if this is a software sided Bug or something with the file is wrong.   15. My PC crashed while playing. After restarting and loading my savegame something is wrong.     crucible empty

    Taking a crucible out of the smelting process deletes everything inside of it. Also i tryed reheating another crucible (was at around 800-900 °C) but it instantly finished and was empty as well For recreation of the process: I was smelting 2 crucibles filled with 2500units of copper. once the first finished i put the second one in the fire and started filling the bar molds. I usually use charcoal and there the copper stays liquid long enough to fill the molds a second time after they cooled down, but this time i used brown coal since i got so much of it. when i was getting ready to refill the molds the contents of crucible 1 had started to solidify so i took crucible 2 out of the fire to quickly reheat crucible 1. crucible 1 instantly got put into the output slot and was empty (it had 1200units remaining before trying to reheat) and then i noticed that crucible 2 was empty as well. it kinda hurts since i just lost 37 bars worth of copper which is around half of my total bars Edit: just found the 2500units of crucible 2 lying on the floor, crucible 1 which i tryed to reheat remains empty. Edit2: i tryed reheating a crucible again, it worked fine so my guess is that reheating is only buggy when taking another crucible away from the fire and put the other one on the flame without closing the window.
  17. I just bought the game yesterday and put in a few hours of gameplay. Today, I was playing the game normally. (Please note that I have no mods installed at all.) I'd been playing for an hour and was putting in a new floor in my house. All I was doing was breaking dirt blocks. The game crashed. I restarted the game. Another hour or so passes and I go to take a tool from one of my tool racks. The game crashes. I go to restart the game and it crashes again. Now I can't even launch the game.     Water Walls

    Hi there, just started a new world in ver. and the first thing greeting me was a wall of water in the middle of a valley. World Seed: 1702570047 Coords: -56, -1, -64 Not flowing just walling.
  19. Simple, when moving in a diagonal direction (by holding 'A' and 'W' for example), the player moves at a speed which is significantly faster than moving straight forwards or to the side. The effect is more noticeable when sprinting
  20. Howdy, I was going to setup a server for myself and a couple friends, but when I was testing out the server software, the log reported critical errors. I'm not sure how important this is, as it occurred on attempting to shut the server down with the command "/stop", but I'm a little worried that I might lose world progress if this turns out to be major. server-crash.txt
  21. Two bugs I have observed: Sometimes molds still looked filled even after removing the item if they are left to sit for a long time. Picking the mold up leaves the "metal" plane behind on the ground if this happens. Charcoal pits with multiple layers of wood produce less charcoal than a pit with a single layer (assuming both pits have the same amount of wood). Also bamboo doesn't seem to have a way to replant it and samplings in general are far too rare unless you break every single leaf block before cutting the tree down.

    Minor UI bugs

    A couple small bugs in the UI: 1) Having a character binded to "show chat" in options that is also used in typing in chat, will result in the chatbox closing while typing 2) When the game is started and the character creator appears, if the tutorial message is also displayed, the tutorial buttons can be clicked through the character creator screen
  23. Hey, first off I want to say that this game is great fun. However, there are occasional bugs/glitches that I encounter while I play (i.e. in the character creator, you can click through the menu to the button of the help suggestion). I was wondering if it would be possible to create a sub-forum specifically for reporting bugs in the game, as the player base would surely be able to find bugs rather quickly, and discuss possible workarounds.   24. Would it be possible to make http://vintagestory.at work properly? Right now it just shows an error, you may have trouble getting people involved in the game if they can't find the site.
