About Me

  1. I've read a bunch of similar questions in the forums but I couldn't find a clear answer. I've been playing this amazing game for more than 24 hours in total, and I'm still only in the copper age. I think I have maybe 5 ingots of another metal. I've spent about 5 picks and prospecting picks and I am yet to find tin/bronze or anything else for that matter. I've tried to go down many of the caves, and I've found a few of those machines that need fixing but I haven't been able to find other ores. I understand the game is a bit harder than similar other games, but is it really suppose
  2. So as my world entered its second year since generation, I headed north through a gap between two mountains I had often traversed. I previously had not noted either the native copper bits on the ground near the mountain, nor had I noted the copper ore vein in the basalt blocks making up the mountainside above me (about 5 blocks were exposed to air). So did I truly just miss this vein the entire first year, or did something happen and this just appeared after winter? (Perhaps the rains or snows exposed it?) Thank you for the help.
