How do I craft a sword?

I can't seem to craft a sword.  I can't make a mold for it out of clay or smith it using a copper ingot.   It doesn't show sword blade as an option to craft.

In 1.17 the longblade was replaced by the falx. So you should be looking for the mold and recipie for a falx instead of the longblade.
