Is this a bug?

when mining a ruin i got a block of "granite cobblestone" that was written in German? it wouldn't stack with the other cobblestone I had. Cobblestone is to the left a slightly different texture.

probably not a bug  but definitely an oversight. May want to head over to the public issue tracker and post an issue about it!
