Need help fixing world corruption issue caused by using version-mismatching VS content mods on server

Hello! When moving my server from 1.20-rc.6 (the version the world was started on) to 1.20.1, I seem to have made a mistake where I copied the rc.6 content mods over to 1.20.1 accidentally, when I copied over the small handful of 3rd party mods (I simply ran `cp server-old/Mods/* server/Mods/` without thinking, I believe). Upon connecting to the server in this state, the entire world was filled with questionmark blocks, and player data was read as semi-invalid as I was sent back into character creation (but with all of the options I had actually used in character creation selected). I ended up upgrading to 1.20.3 with the proper content mods, and this seems to have MOSTLY fixed the issue... except, now all of our storage in a certain area either displays as questionmark blocks, or empty blocks with the name of "Unknown". Our storage racks are also empty, and any signs that have been placed in the affected area are empty as well (though this is comparatively minor, since signs can be re-written). The only reason I can think of for some being broken and others not, is that the ones that ARE broken are closer to where I was when I connected when things were more generally broken. I unfortunately did not think to make a backup as I didn't think there was a way for a minor version move to be messed up so spectacularly. Worth noting too that I have no mods that should relate to storage functionality, I have BetterHewnFenceGate, ConnectedStairs, PlayerCorpse, ProspectTogether, and th3essentials, and that's it.

Some pictures of the problem:

^ The questionmark blocks here are supposed to be vessels. You'll also notice the tool racks are empty, even though they previously I believe contained our one pickaxe and saw

^ In this photo they're supposed to be crates, and you'll also notice the blank sign

^ Working vessels, just a little ways away from where the broken storage is

I also didn't manage to get a photo of it, but our reed baskets in the affected area are what show up as empty but highlightable blocks with the name "Unknown"

I've also noticed, I think our barrels in the first picture are all empty too even though they had stuff in them before the corruption issue happened.

I tried running repair mode locally (did not try this when I'd made my OP because I was panicking and didn't think it'd work) and... sure enough, it didn't work :(

I'm considering seeing if I can poke at the VCDBS file in a SQLite editor tool to see if the data for what those blocks should be storing would even be there anymore, maybe I can just get around it by cheating the items back in or something if I'm able to see what exactly is inaccessible. I'd imagine it's not very easily human-readable though.

EDIT: VCDBS files are most certainly not human-readable, so that's not an option.

EDIT2: It seems that any storage that still displays just fine in-world in the affected chunk doesn't actually work -- clicking on them to open them does nothing. I also did notice our normal vessels that look fine actually look like cracked vessels, even though that's not what they were pre-corruption

I guess I need to maybe clarify based off of what was said in another thread, that what I used the wrong version for here in my move from 1.20.0-rc.6 to 1.20.1 was VSEssentials.dll, VSSurvivalMod.dll, and (not that it's relevant here) VSCreativeMod.dll, not just community-made mods
