I got the itch to draw some Vintage Story critters some time ago so I guess I'll share them.

This is the player character that I end up using most of the time. I play with the 2D seraph faces mod and I really liked the combination of the tired face with the long hair plus the messy strands. I imagine that she has this vibe of being very done with everything but too patient and longsuffering to make a big deal about it.

EDIT: I tend to draw with hair thin lines, which makes these sketches practically invisible on this website, so I darkened them for easier viewing. Sorry about that.

I had a heck of a time parsing exactly what that black thing on a drifter's face was. I eventually settled on it being interlocking metal teeth, sort of like a bear trap.

Some more seraph sketches I had on my tablet.

If you're wondering what the dots on their heads are, I was playing around with the idea of them having a sort of "third eye" organ that senses the flow of time, allowing them to clearly feel and see temporal disturbances and stay anchored. Whereas normal humans wouldn't be able to comprehend them beyond vague feelings of unease and weirdness, and unlike seraph would be shoved backwards and forwards or even frozen in time during temporal storms. Before I settled on the drifters having metal teeth inside their non-descript face hole I had the idea that it was the same "third eye" organ except grown to grotesque proportions.
