Revengeofthecog Posted January 31, 2025 Report Posted January 31, 2025 Just bought the game and went through hell downloading it but now it is telling me "A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host failed to respond." My friends were able to join the game and it automatically downloaded the mods for them but not me.
Agiordantx Posted January 31, 2025 Report Posted January 31, 2025 Ive got the same problem with a buddy of mine who just picked it up. Server is open for people, and mods can be downloaded, but that one person can't seem to ping the server. No response. I'm thinking it's possibly something on their end? What kind of setup does your buddy have @Revengeofthecog? Does he have an Ethernet connection or Wifi, or maybe the router is blocking something? 1

Logged out and then I couldn't get back in. They do have mods installed and I installed the mods when I finally got onto the server.

When I open the server my friends can join for a bit but after a while no one else can join or if someone leaves they can't rejoin. Have to close and reopen the server in order to get it to work again.
