So, the idea is similar to the "batteries" you would find in the game Timberborn. Basically pulleys with heavy items that slowly drop down, the pulley height from the ground being the stored energy. Something I saw in some playthroughs with windmills is how sometimes they seem to be inconsistent due to placements, and this might potentially help newcomers have something like a consistent (yet slow) speed of turning for automated things.
