linen

what is some ways i can get linen and or more twine to make it, just struggling to find some answers

Grow flax, harvest wild fully grown flax, pan it from bony soil, buy it from traders (clothing traders I think), loot it from ruin chests and cracked farming vessels. Might be more ways, but growing it is your best option long term
