McFrugal Posted February 19, 2025 Report Posted February 19, 2025 I looked up how the armor system works since I wanted to know exactly how much armor gets reduced by higher tier attacks. Turns out it's always reduced even against lower tier attacks! That almost directly contradicts the description ingame that says armor is reduced by higher tier damage! I am shocked that it's like this. Because of this, you will NEVER get the listed amount of protection that an armor says it has.
Niclas Hennig Posted March 28, 2025 Report Posted March 28, 2025 I just tested armor today, I never was that pissed as I realized that the copper armor I worked hard for was basically useless cause almost everyone got a higher atack tier even if I am not far from the starting area or deep underground

I don't know where you got your information, but damage reduction is not reduced for lower tier attacks vs the tier of the armor. That's just false.

That's just false. they might be mistaking Durability for damage reduction. if you have iron Armor and get hit by someone with a Copper spear the durability will be reduced but the damage will be lessened from the tier. in other games they will sometimes make durability and damage reduction similar, so that may be the confusion.
