Yoh Posted March 10, 2025 Report Posted March 10, 2025 I host a server that has been online for 7 months. Throughout this time, the server has gone through various eras, and I've received numerous requests from people to help establish its unique identity. However, I feel that I am reaching the limit I set for myself regarding mod usage and excess. Yes the simplest answer would be to stop adding more mods, I’d like to start a discussion about how players manage their mods. Here are a couple of questions to consider: How do you decide when it’s time to stop adding new mods? For me, I follow two main guidelines: First, when the Creative Inventory no longer accommodates all the tabs for the downloaded mods, it’s time to reconsider. Second, I take into account whether the average player can run the server effectively given the RAM usage of the mods. I'm not quite sure how to gauge the RAM requirements for these mods, and I would like to know a better solution, if there is one. Additionally, if you are a player who uses many small mods that add numerous tabs to the Creative Menu, would it be possible for a modder to create an interface to help users access the hidden tabs in the Creative Menu?
Yoh Posted March 28, 2025 Author Report Posted March 28, 2025 You can Use the arrow Keys to get to the hidden tabs. Problem solved.
