Tomasz Graczykowski Posted March 12, 2025 Report Posted March 12, 2025 I've been trying to make a small mod that makes coke more useful. Raised the temp to 1650C, and reduced burn time to 25s - with smelting iron in mind. It works well with meteoric iron. However when I change the ore nuggets smelting result to iron-ingot, it also changes the bloomery smelting result. As far as I can tell both the bloomery and crucible use the same smelting data from the nugget's json. Is there any way to separate the two processes, apart from maybe using C# scripting to check if bloomery is used? I've thought about a workaround where the crucible would use an alloy recipe (19 iron and 1 nickel for example), but it's a crude solution and I'm wondering if there's another way.
