Grumein The Great Reclaimer set out two years past (In game) to strike the earth and found the small hold of Hammerdeep. Few Dwarven remnants, each and every one a strange biological golem with the soul of a Dwarf inside, (and one random Elf.) Memories are fragmented, and little is known of what happened to the world, until the fateful day when the Archives were rediscovered following an expedition to a far grander peak, where the earth was struck once more. The Reclaimer Holds are bound by one creed: "Merit and Honor Above All." That's actually a very good idea for lore. It's a shame there aren't fantasy species in the game to dive deeper into it.
