Started building a boat and really want to cancel it. Don't have the materials for it, and honestly not a fan of the type of wood I started using anyways. I tried hitting it with an axe, a saw, right clicking, digging the ground out from under the project, but can't seem to cancel the build. Anyone know if it is possible or am I stuck with a boat skeleton near my base? Looked around and didn't find any answers but I am new, so I'm sure if there is an answer it is something dumb that I should have known. Thanks.

Here you go... according to the Wiki it looks like you will have to complete the boat construction before you can deconstruct it.

I've discovered that world edit (/we command stuff) it will destroy a boat under construction. My game glitched an the launcher would send the boat in the water and glitch back, rotate 180 degrees, and start a new construction with the previous materials needed; So I decided after finding this forum to just bury it with world edit and fill it in (out of sight out of mind) and creating that hole with world edit deleted the boat in construction.
