Permanent Rain?

I started the Game in an Area with uncommon Rain and made my first base there, near the spawn point. In the first month everything was normal, but then it began to rain and it did not stop. I have heavy Rain and Thunder nonstop for Days now and it is annoying to play in this weather all the time, i can't hear anything but the rain. Is this a bug or is the weather this way sometimes? Is there a possibility to stop the rain with a command?

The command "/weather c" works particularly well.  It quickly changes the weather to a random pattern.

That can be normal; I've experienced that since I've started playing this game

"Uncommon" just means there's not as much rain there as other areas. Usually they'll be dry, but I have seen it rain for a whole 9-day month in an uncommon area a few times. It just comes and goes.

Thanks for the Answers. I was just not expecting that much rain, but i think that is the world i live in now. That Command will be useful. I also turned down the Weather Sound, nice that you can do that in this game, and the rain/thunder is not so bad anymore.
