Human17 Posted May 16, 2025 Report Posted May 16, 2025 Hi everybody! I jumped on last night and got some severe stuttering and freezing of the game. Long story short - Windows updates are to blame. Even though I had the "game mode" switched on, Windows was dead set of installing updates right then and there. TL;DR: if you are getting sudden stuttering and freezing, chances are it's Windows updates. Quit the game and let the updates complete. You can see relevant services being active and using up system resources in Task Manager. Just thought I'd share! 2
