Having some troubles with my Host Havoc server...

I am trying to start a new server with some friends but I am having troubles with two things here.

- Server Config won't let me set the player speed value to default even though it says: (default: 1.5) , decimals don't seem to work and keep putting the value to 2 making us able to run faster than rabbits lol

we did found an alternative to that by using the .setspeed 0.85 command in game which correspond approximatively to the normal player speed when keeping the base config value 2.

I don't know if this has to do with the recent version of the game or what since we did not had this problem before.

- We also tried using a seed we liked but it doesn't seem to work by anyway even when putting the seed in the config and restarting the server as well as deleting the previous map...

If there is other players like us using Host Havoc, let me know if you got something to help

unfortunately no, we just manually used the .setspeed command when first joining a world to put ourselves at 0.85 the regular speed which is approximately the normal player speed

Here I am to revive the thread.

 

I'm using Host Havoc for a server as well, and it seems that NONE of my Server Config settings are reflected in the final product. Whatever I put in on the Server isn't what's in the game.

Set a grace period for a few in-game days? Nope. Enemies swarmed us on night one.

Increased tool durability and mining speed? Nope.

Among a few other options, I don't think anything was set to what I had it set to be. I've fixed that by just using the /worldconfig commands when in game and altering the settings that I'm able to from there.

 

Average Host Havoc moment I guess.
