help finding clay hey guys could someone point out clay if you see any

been looking for over an hour ancant find it

I had that problem too, but you will notice that it is everywhere once you know how it looks like. This should help you:

1: Make a new world

2: Go into creative (/Gamemode c)

3: Search Red/Blue clay (With sparse grass)in your inventory

4: Place them down

5: Stare at the texture until you see it in your dreams (Top is most important)

6: Fly around and find a clay deposit (Not in deserts or extreme cold/ Gravel or sand)

7: Look at the patch even longer 

8: Go back to your survival world

9: Find it by running around a bit (while staring at the ground)

I found my first clay around 1100 blocks away from spawn after 30 hours, just to notice there was a ton right next to my base the entire time. I never was able to use the map to locate clay.
