Enjen Posted June 13, 2025 Report Posted June 13, 2025 Hello, all Seraphs and Vintarians! I am presenting a goal of mine; to create a Modded Server for all types of players to join and make it their home of choice! Not heavily modded but just Survival+ I should say. I am open to hearing out suggestions while I develop the server! The reason for this is because I love to be able to join a bustling world with it's own mini communities, villages, towns, cities, kingdoms etc. Player driven trading and Player crafted Laws and governments sound so fun! A place where I can log in, start a project and realize "Oh no! I don't have enough clay! Let me visit the nearest town with a Potter and see if he'd like to trade a stack for a stack of Wood". A world full of Player History for the entirety of Vintage Story's life and thereafter! That sort of scenario (and many others like it are very very exciting to me! I don't know if there are others that share this sentiment, but if there are, this server will be your home. I more than likely will not have world resets (unless Vintage Story goes through world gen breaking updates) and the mods may have 1 or 2 Generation changing mods. The rest will be items, recipes and mechanical changes! I will continue to nurture this plan of mine and provide more details for those who are interested! Please reach out, let's discuss!
Sebastian Godzina Posted June 17, 2025 Report Posted June 17, 2025 This is just a pipe dream but I once thought about a server where players maintain full immersion in the game and do not behave as childishly by building swastikas as my colleagues. But to the point. I once thought about a server with the things you are talking about. The player would have to get to the city and live in a community or as a complete loner. Everything would have its pros and cons of course. Unfortunately, it is probably not possible at the moment due to the resource consumption of the server with a large number of players. I would be happy to participate in further discussions because it is quite an interesting concept.
