WOW! Who else just heard the news??? Hytale is no longer in development and Hypixel Studios is shutting down. What are your thoughts? Any comments? Guesses as to what may have happened behind the scenes? Would love to open up these conversations

Can't say I'm shocked given the slow updates and engine rework (or was it an engine change?). It's unfortunate that it's never going to see the light of day, but I've already found my M-word alternative, so quite frankly I'm not all that bummed about it either.

I found my home here too. I found VS after looking into a Hytale video and seeing it mentioned in the comments section. What im wondering is what Tyron thinks, especially since I heard he used to be a Hytale developer.

If VS could release and get updated in that time with this small team, Hytale not even having a beta out is kinda nuts.

I’m personally hoping some former Hytale devs join the VS team or start working on their own projects. Given what Tyron’s done, they have to be pretty good.
