Can't nape flint in Linux install

I installed the 1.21.0-rc.1 version and net8. The games runs fine, but I am unable to create a flint knife. I click on the bits and it dose the particles like it is working, but the bit does not go away and the knife can't be made. Anything special I need to do on Linux to get things running?

I have Linux Mint 22.1 and a Nvidia GeForce 1050 card, if that is needed.
