Is there any way to join my own LAN server from a second instance ran on the same computer?

I have looked into some ways to direct multiple inputs, and I feel like i could make it functional but it seems vintage story will not join the LAN server from a second instance without crashing the second instance, even with an unmodded setup with bare minimum graphics. Does anyone have an idea of how I could make this work? Thanks in advance.

After some searching I have made progress.

 

Thanks to this amazing nerd:

I was able to get the LAN server up on 1 computer and join with the other instance(with 2 purchased copies of the game, 2 seperate profiles if it wasn't obvious). I am looking into a program to allow multiple mice/keyboards to be directed to different programs.
