Apoaxis Posted August 28, 2025 Report Posted August 28, 2025 Hi All, After discovering that this didn't exist in base game yet, but the underlying mechanics appeared to, It got me thinking why i can make so much of some materials and faster than id reasonably be able to consume them. This could obviously be noodled out as a "produce less and have less waste" problem, but i see an interesting opportunity too. The point: Agro traders can sell a bowl with Honey in it, Survival goods traders can buy a bowl with honey in it, meaning there's an implementation to purchase an item holding a liquid, and that can tell what liquid and what vessel they are using. Could this be applied to other vessels, and could we sell resources like Wine, Ale, or Aqua Vitae to traders? Agro and lux traders would likely be good candidates for the purchase and sale of Wine or Ale, and Lux could also purchase Aqua Vitae as well as maybe survival goods? it would provide some extra uses to storage vessels like jugs, and promote us to keeping the kilns fired a bit more often. if ever given an ability to move an entire barrel of liquid, this could be nerfed into only letting us sell the full barrel, forcing us to treat this as a bigger investment. Love the game and its current mechanics, I haven't thought about a video game this much in well over a decade. 1
