Riki_gz01 Posted September 20, 2025 Report Posted September 20, 2025 (edited) Hi, im trying to set up a server for 1.21.1, i have unabled upnp but no matter what i do the server allways starts on 0.0.0.0 making multiplayer connections impossible. i have tried port triggering but nothing works. im having troubble with port forwarding because my router is stupid and cant work like a normal machine (i have to port forward trought app, but it doesent see my pc as connected to the router, i am starting to lose my mind). DMZ is out of question and windows firewall is also set up. what can i do? thanks for the help! Edited September 20, 2025 by Riki_gz01
AmisuzX Posted September 21, 2025 Report Posted September 21, 2025 If you only need to host a server for your close friends or something like that, using ZeroTier/RadminVPN should just work and save you a lot of hassle (if you have firewall exceptions set correctly) and it's in my opinion safer option, only real caveat being need for your friends to also use Zerotier/RadminVPN.
