Mod Request - Chicken / Animal Husbandry Feed

I love keeping animals, but it feels like their food sources are kind of limited. Chickens, as mentioned in the title, stick out to me the most. Feeding them all my grain isn't my favorite, and IRL you see them eat everything from grass to each other.

Compatibility with Primitive Survival is probably a decent idea, so we can feed earthworms to chickens.

I'm sure people have more thoughts on other animals, but I'm mostly interested in the expansion of feed options. If you know a mod that already does this, please tell me!

Unfortunately it seems to only impact large troughs. There's a mod that allows for more food in small, but it's designed specifically for hares. I'm pretty sure Truth and Beauty: Detailed Animals allows more foods to be put in troughs, but I'm not interested in the rest of the features, admittedly.

It's supposed to work for small troughs, but there's a bug report in the comments reporting a crash using them. TenthArchitect's pretty on top of things, though, so I wouldn't expect it to be too long before there's a fix.

ETA: That crash report seems to just be for thatch, though. Why do you say Diverse Diets is only for large troughs?
