Gr33nB00t5 Posted October 3, 2025 Report Posted October 3, 2025 Sorry in advance if there is already a guide, I'm not really sure what exactly I'm asking. So I had a multiplayer server running. I've learned to update it. I've had people join. But I was messing around looking at different world generations in single player, and now when I start the server file a new instance is created. I've tried deleting the created files in the "save" folder, the only remaining file is the old game instance, but I can't figure out how to tell the game to use that file for the online server. Any help would be greatly apricated. Sincerely, GreenBoots
Solution Gr33nB00t5 Posted October 3, 2025 Author Solution Report Posted October 3, 2025 This took a few tries, but if anyone runs into the same issue. Find and open the serverconfig.json file in your server's data folder using a text editor. Locate the "SaveFileLocation" setting and change it to point to your world's save file, which will be in the format ./data/Saves/YourWorldNameHere.vcdbs. Save the serverconfig.json file and restart the server.
