Dyrosis Posted October 5, 2025 Report Posted October 5, 2025 I'd love a rework of roofing blocks so they use a 7 days to die like shapes menu. it's frankly annoying to build a roof and end up with 2-5 of random roofing pieces. Some folks have made dismantling mods to get back resources so they don't clutter storage. Instead we should be able to craft a generic thatch/sod/tile block. Then press F to enter the shape menu to select the shape (ridge, shallow angle, corner, 45deg, inverse corner, point, etc), left click to rotate (vertical axis only?). Then place with right click. We have chiseling, so the shape menu is unnecessary for most blocks, but roof blocks with their specific textures and models . Still might be a nicely extended into something like chisel presets though. 1
