Kaschperle Posted October 7, 2025 Report Posted October 7, 2025 (edited) Hello there, once more I am envisioning a idea and this time a more reinforced manners ensuring people work together. Server side Rules Everyone has to cooperate and be inside the village. No more going 1k plus blocks away and say "we can trade" that's not the point of you doing your own thing and wasting server resources (ram / slots / progressing day time. Natural ways to enforce cooperation each class has a bonus and a heavy debuff for things they're not meant to do. A simple example farmer would have less ore drop chance by half (have to look into all the class mods and see if I can patch it that way). The opposite for classes regarding crops / animal drops. Deposit % set to 20 and making iron a underground mines only thing. Meaning you and the others have to band up and go into the abandoned mines to find iron. This included with enemy's scaling with distance and depth will make them tougher to kill alone. Perhaps I am not so keen on that idea is having smithing limited to certain people meaning iron tools would be locked and only craft able for sensible classes. (This isn't a yes yet we will talk about it once everyone is banded together) Last point since we are forced to make a village or suffer the consequences (not counting obviously outposts etc). This would making city walls of different materials depending on the age we are in a thing for everyone to participate. We would make a community castle Tower, with teleports archivums and rare schematics. Another thing is we can get traders and npcs and add them to the village. The npcs would offer quests some more worthwhile than others and make the settlement more lively. Warning do not sign up if: Don't stick to community projects and just do your own thing. (Community goals are important to ensure cooperation). Your afraid of a harder experience where cooperation is a must to navigate the world properly. It's suggested to be familiar with VS. Xou don't necessarily need experience with mods Noteworthy mods (will drop mod list sooner or later) Combat Overhaul series (all add ons) Expanded Stomach Art of Growing Biomes Fotsa Creatures Equus Draconis (lategame reward honor rule is not to cheese one of the story locations lol) Tech mods (electric etc) Better ruins heavily tweaked making it less op and more rare.
