Hello there!

I’m finally going to be making the switch from Windows to Linux, after watching my husband for the past 6 months use Linux to revitalize his old gaming computer so that he can play games again. I’m also very excited about the lack of bloatware that Linux programs can bring, and I’m looking at LinuxMint since it looks very similar to the Windows layout. Also, all the art programs I use work on Linux, so the switch won’t really affect me.

My big question is, how can I ensure that my game will work on Linux, since I originally downloaded it for Windows (it’s been almost a year so I forget the details lol), and how can I transfer my saves? My motherboard only has space for one SSD slot, which is currently in use, and I don’t have a HDD hud either, so I can’t have two operating systems on one machine.

The original title didn't sound much like a question.
