barrel portion issue

i cant seal the barrel no matter how many pelts i put in nor limewater (ex. 8 lrg pelts + 48 liters of limewater supposed to let me seal but it wont nor any other variation ?) any help ?

The recipe for soaked hides requires raw hides, not pelts. Pelts can't become leather.
