Prospecting tool give me no reading of copper in the chunck I am (I'm using Prospecting mods to have the chunck square show on the map) Dig after finding some copper nuggets on the ground in the same chunck Find Native copper in the ground Redo the Density search to see if it's a bug, still no reading of copper in the chunck, not even 0.01% Do the Node search exactly where the Native copper vein is just to see Result - Native copper, Large vein Why did the ''Density search'' give me no reading of copper but I found a Large vein randomly ?
Foe Hammer Posted January 22 Report Posted January 22 Surface veins are different from the ore density of the ground below. So you can find them randomly around the world whether the area is rich in copper or not. That said, the prospecting pick density is not an exact science, and I know you can have false positives. 2
