Hey, just curious what im doing wrong. I was on windows and when i held down ALT it would unlock the cursor and i could freely START  knapping or clay forming. I recently had to make the jump to linux due to the hostile environment that is windows and ever since when i hold down alt i can't knap or clayform UNLESS i start knapping or clay forming BEFORE i press alt. I feel like im missing a setting or something and this isn't the way its supposed to be. Any help would be great.

figured it out. thx everyone.

While I did not have that issue on Linux, other people might do, for which you did not provide any help when they potentially find this thread in hopes of a solution.

you have to also hold sneak while holding alt. on windows i didnt. default is Alt+shift, but you can knap without holding shift if you start knapping before you hold alt.
