[PSA] I was having major performance issues, but swapping to Maximized Borderless fixed it

Maybe this will help someone. I have a really powerful computer but was having major performance issues. They were also very strange: I would be fine with excellent FPS, then suddenly my whole computer would slow to a crawl and i would have ~10 fps for several seconds, sometimes indefinitely until I physically changed locations in-game by walking ~10-20 blocks away. Suddenly, the issue would resolve and I would have normal performance again.

Anyways, to fix this, I simply switched to Maximized Borderless. Never had those issues again.
