Modded gameplay with constant lag issues

Hi everyone, I’d like to ask for some help.

I’m playing with a collection of mods that my friend put together. Up until recently I had no lag issues at all, but now I’m running into a problem where the game frequently stutters during travel. It feels like the gameplay freezes for a moment whenever chunks are loading.

At first I suspected Better Ruins or the Wildcraft mods, but even after removing them the issue still persists. I even created a completely new world without those mods, and the game still keeps hitching whenever chunks load.
