Parabola Posted March 26 Report Posted March 26 Would someone be so kind as to explain what is going on with TOPS? TOPS is the main server I play on and I just became aware via the 1.22.0-rc.5 announcement that a "re-launch" has already taken place. Could someone explain what this "re-launch" entails: Is it wipe of everything (player inventories, map, etc.)? How, if at all, are builds from the TOPS wipe until now going to be accommodated? When is this taking place? Has it already happened? Despite Tyron's announcement, players in other servers are saying the wipe has yet to take place while this forum post obviously implies the wipe has already taken place.
Yerik Posted April 3 Report Posted April 3 TOPS is now on 1.22 rc 7 just a few weeks ago they rebuilt the server from scratch using 1.22 nothing you built on TOPS prior exists on this new server. I have been playing since re-launch, but wait times have ranged from 2-4 hours so it has been hard to get on. On their Discord server there is a TOPS channel, where I get most my info from. The old server was moved, and as far as I know you can still get to it with a different ip address. Don't know how long that will be up, they don't plan on keeping it up. You can probably join it and download your land claims if you don't want to loose any of your builds, that is what I did before the re-launch.
