Has anyone had problems with items (that do exist in the game) not showing up when correct items are put in crafting grid?

It's bothersome how I have to exit and enter back into my world when this keeps happening, which it does, and I just needed to know if I could fix it? It happens with random item crafting, it could be anything and everything that uses the crafting grid, not smithing/knapping to my knowledge.

Quite a lot of people have had problems. It's a known issue, #9175.
