Khanco Posted July 31 Report Posted July 31 I was smelting up some electrum to turn into a plate when I got distracted and accidentally left the crucible to cool. Now I have 200 units of hardened electrum stuck inside the crucible which would be fine except it's saying it needs to reach 2400°C in order to be resmelted, which is obviously not possible with any fuel useable on a firepit. How do I get the electrum out? It feels like you should be able to at least break the crucible to retrieve and resmelt the chunks but I can't seem to find any way of doing this

Khanco Posted July 31 Author Report Posted July 31 I did try to reheat it using charcoal just in case, but the crucible reached the 1300°C cap and the arrow didn't seem to start filing

Just bring it up to the temperature and pour. 1
