Ariven Posted July 25, 2021 Report Posted July 25, 2021 Starting several weeks ago, before my upgrade to 1.15, Vintage Story's game music stopped playing for me. Music plays at the save-file loading screen. When I go deep into a cave I hear the scary ambient music. But regular ol' music during gameplay won't play. Any ideas for troubleshooting? Troubleshooting steps I've taken: I verified that I can hear other Vintage Story game sounds from my audio device. I've tried disabling all mods except for Essentials (Code), Survival Mode (Code), and Creative Mode (Code) I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Vintage Story. I've restarted my computer. I've tried changing audio devices & plugging/unplugging my audio devices. No change. Data in case it is relevant: I'm running version 1.15.2 on Windows 10. My save file is approximately 3 GB. My logs are zipped and attached in case that helps. My audio settings are attached as a screenshot. Best, Ariven server-debug.zip 1
Ariven Posted July 26, 2021 Author Report Posted July 26, 2021 Creating a new world resolved the music issue, although I'll miss playing in my original world. That's a good enough solution for me for now. The issue appears to be save-file-specific. Great music, @Lo-Phi. Thanks for your work & creativity. 1
