Wolves have been increased slightly, and they do have a higher chance of respawning (so quicker respawns). Disclaimer: that is just how it looks to me from comparing 1.16 files to 1.17.     Better ruins, prospector info, primitive survival, and xskills... none of which have stated any increase in mob spawning. I'm not very knowledgeable about coding either.

  2. I too have noticed a drastic increase in wolf spawns, seems like every night a new LARGE group of wolves spawns outside my home. It doesn't seem to matter what biome I'm in.

    Also, the number of animals in general seems extremely high, I'm constantly surrounded by wild sheep, pigs, chickens, rabbits, and all other animals. There's been no reason for me to practice animal husbandry as I get new animals every night :P 

  3. I can't tell what the different climates are, how do you know what the correct conditions are for a spawn?

    Sorry. This is an issue I reported to Tyron a long time ago but he was likely flooded by all other kinds of issues at the time, so it was forgotten. (I also can't use those buttons that open folders.) The safe folder is located in your user home folder under `.config/VintagestoryData`. Not sure how experienced you are, so just in case: You may have to enable showing hidden files to be able to see the `.config` folder.

  6. My husband has Linux installed on his computer and when we try to open the "Save Folder", in the game, the game crashes.

    We went to my computer with Windows 10 and found the folder no problem.

    When we go through the directories on both our computers, my computer has the Save Folder and his does not! However, he has games that are saved and he plays them no problem.

    The thing is, we want to copy the game to my computer.

    Can anyone tell us where the Save Folder is in Linux?

  7. If you "*cannot* add more iron voxels by adding another bloom." Then why is it an option to be able to add more material to the iron on the anvil? And if I no longer have enough voxels (from misclicks) to make an ingot is it then wasted?
