  1. So, I haven't actually done a "mark as solution" yet... Uhm, ok so here's my thing. Brady_The's response got me to the answer but took a bit of investigating to actually find the answer for myself. I actually really like their answer though as I learned more about how things work under the hood in the game and is more broadly applicable than just my actual answer to my direct question. But it doesn't actually answer the question asked. Also, I posted my own answer to the question, and I'm not sure if it's a faux pas to flag my own reply as the answer to the question, esp. with the help from Brady_The. I guess, I'm uncertain what, if anything, I should flag as the answer.
  2. Thank you for this tip! This got me to the answer far faster than fighting with google.
  3. If anyone else is wondering: Here's the commands to turn the eidolon on. It seems it defaults to the stoptask state, so just running a stoptask inactive command should wake our boy up. AKA; /entity cmd e[type=eidolon-immobilized,range=20,alive=true] stoptask inactive The other is just to show the HP bar. For anyone hoping to make their own dungeon using the boss and waking it up when players get close(I THINK you should be able to copy this exactly unless you expect players to approach from below.) You ALSO need the ticker block to trigger wakeup, if you want it automated: Reflecting on my speculation: I was right about which block does the wakeup call, but the other blocks are not the dungeon reset blocks as I expected, but rather the timer constantly checks if a player is in range to send the wakeup command, a command for unlocking the door when it dies (and also displaying and re-hiding the HP bar).
  4. Interesting. I assumed command blocks relied on the same commands as you can run as a server admin, but I wasn't able to find any details on how to activate the guy. And looking at that mess, it certainly looks like it must be more than one command. So, here's what I'm speculatively seeing; Ticker block is probably responsible for resetting the dungeon. The attached conditional block (closer to boss) probably triggers the two command blocks; one to set the dungeon zone and one to regenerate the chunks, the other conditional (further) block is probably "if player is in range" with a command block with the command I'm looking for. I guess I'll try booting a new world and go peek at that block command.
  5. Hey all, I'm struggling a bit. Just updated vintage and my modlist, and as a sort of Christmas present (and recompense for the loss of the old world) to a couple buddies I've been building a custom home for us. But more than that, I've turned it into a dungeon delve and after building stuff I go back and "ruin-ify" it. For everything except the armory. For that, I managed to spawn a pair of Immobilized Eidolon bosses. However, after some testing I found that they don't react to the player, even if you attack them. Does anyone know the command to make them wake up and make a real fight to earn our new base?
