I normally do not like to ask others for help but I cannot seem to fix this issue at this point. I'm looking for help with my single player world, its gotten quite big and is taking some time to save/load and quite a bit of stuttering occasionally. I have the game installed on an SSD, and running on a AMD Ryzen 7 5700X and AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT. So I do not believe the issue is with my hardware as I have a rather beefy setup which can handle the game very well.
However I have been trying to purge chunks seeing as I originally started my single player world in Version 1.18 and obviously now I'm running 1.20.3 so I figured I would see how I can delete everything but my base which spans maybe a 2x2 chunk area. I have been using the /db purge command to try and clean up the 100,000 chunks I've ended up generating, which has gotten it down to under 50,000 but each time I attempt purging the 'server' stops responding and its starting to get just a little annoying.
I cannot even find an external map editor either to manage the chunks, I guess such a program doesn't exist so I guess no MCEdit for Vintage Story. I just want to disable the stupid server thing because it makes progress in purging during this time its "unresponsive" but having to reboot the game each time just to get back in my world file to continue it is slowing everything down.
So how do I disable this silly 'unresponsive disconnected' thing that shouldn't honestly exist in a single player mode.
