  1. I took my 1.19 world and updated it to 1.20 It did the same thing as always with a new major version that needs a texture remap, gave me a prompt, told me to wait while it remapped, and then send a message saying "Texture remap successful, restart your world". Since doing that, I have done a lot in the world with no issues. Ran back to The Resonate Archives, talked to my Treasure Hunter friend, and then made the long trek to the Lazaret (On foot). I've closed and opened the game multiple times since 1.20.0 was released. However, as I get to the spot on my map, the above structures nearby have missing textures for the blocks. I haven't looked into a single 1.20 spoiler, so everything up to this point for me has been blind (side note, I have already encountered the two new mobs Scary!). I'm assuming that, since I can't dig these up nor dig around/under them (You can see I tried with those two in the background), these should be a door of some sort for me to enter inside. What are these blocks supposed to be, and how do I fix them? Things I have tried: - Updating to 1.20.1 - /fixmapping applyall - ALT+2 - ALT+1 - Disabling mods, and trying the above three again Mods installed: Auto Map Markers, Better Firepits, BlackSmithName, ChiselTools, Flour Bags, Shelfish, TemporalStormMusic, these are all updated to their latest versions as of the time of writing this post.
  2. It's not often I see this ingame, but it is without a doubt one of my most favorite weather patterns. While not as extreme as your situation, here's a spot I came across while playing last summer:
  3. Sorry I haven't checked in, I forgor Good question! I'm not sure; I don't see anything on the Wiki or the game documentation to indicate that it's a topping. Usually when I cook with my pickled stuff, I just throw 24 into a pot and cook a very hearty veggie meal, this is the first time I've tried branching off from that. That's the main and only reason I pickle them, as it makes a huge difference on the spoiler timer Winter stockup my beloved Anyways, if it's a normal game feature, then it's not an issue to me. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a bug before making a fool of myself by going to the bug tracker and reporting it. I've put a few bug reports on the Github bug tracker before, so I'm familiar with that process.
  4. I can't seem to make soup with pickled vegetables, and I can only use 0-1 pickled vegetables in porridge. I looked on both the food preservation and cooking Wiki pages, but I saw no mention of pickled vegetables being different. On the Cooking wiki, under "Meal Food Values", it says Which gives me the impression that I CAN use these as regular veggies, I just don't get as much from them as their fresh counterparts. Is this a normal game feature, or did I find a bug? I have no mods that modify foods. I DO have the Better Firepit mod, but that should only affect temperatures of stacked items; I don't think that could be causing an issue here.
  5. I still haven't been able to get the seed to work. I've tried remaking it on both 1.15.6, 1.15.7, and 1.15.8, with the only changed setting being the 9d/m changed to 30d/m. Would that affect how the world generates? I fail to see how. Unless generating a world through a custom text (Like I mentioned earlier) that's longer than what the numerical world seed is messes things up. I still can't fully remember what phrase I used
  6. I thought about just using a command to make the months longer, but I'm already 5 years in at 9 days a month and it would feel weird to me if I just. .. changed the month length mid-world. I'd rather just start new, rebuild my home better and have a fresh start. The only reason I wanted to reuse my seed is because I found the perfect place to make a home; a large, flat area that's both dry and cold, overlooking an overgrown cliff that leads to a forest. I have yet to find a better home spot in any world since, and I very enjoyed living there.
  7. The only settings that are different between the old world and the one I’m trying to make is that I extended the days to 30/month; the three worlds I made to try and recreate the old world that were different from each other, all had the same settings. The only two reasons I’m wanting to make a new world is that A; 1.16 made the area where my house is a constant rift drain, meaning I can’t stay home for too long otherwise I enter the Rust World and B; I didn’t know the setting for longer months existed when I first made the world.
  8. I wanted to recreate my world from scratch, using the same seed (I made the world somewhere between 1.15.6 and 1.15.8, currently on 1.16.3), but every time I make a new world through the "Make a new world with this seed" option in the settings menu, I get a different world generation. I've tried it three times and gotten three different world generations, all of which don't match the old world How would I go about getting a fresh new world that's the same as what I once had? I remember when I made the world I typed a phrase in, but I can't remember the phrase
