I have already found two of the ruins in my world, very nice, lot's of detail and a decent loot table to reflect the rarity and difficulty of the find. would love for them to be bigger and full of traps. Well done and keep them coming, if there is one thing that is missing still from this world is things to discover! 

Do you know how in minecraft when you put a stair in the corner between two stairs, it kinda blends in and wraps around, is it possible to do that in VS?

Is there a possibility to make doors and hatches look different depending on the type of wood used, like in minecraft?

This is a very nice surprise. . .perfect excuse to start another world with all the new goodies

My thoughts, there is a mod that makes locust useful, they drop a filament that you can use to create an electric lamp, and to make it work you have to make a battery, witch has a nice recipe and makes sense for the device to work, so  instead of the plate use a battery as a component, weather is the one from that mod or a new one. 

A recipe to be able to craft those side gears would be nice as well, something like two gears and a shaft in an anvil and then combine it in the crafting gear. Those gears are very rare to find and it would make sense to be able to craft them at a cost ( each gear an iron ingot, same for the shaft ).

Also what is the final output of the recipe, one unit or a pair? if its only one maybe cheapen the recipe a bit with the temporal gears, like grinding them down to dust and getting maybe two or three dust or smaller gears.

Hope this helps a bit, I don't mind the grind as long as it does not become to excessive and frustrating, and all of us have seen the drop rate on those gears from the drifters.

Edit: to pick up the block a simple solution is always the best . . .just use a pic tier three or higher.

It's working fine, for some reason I thought the patch was a file with the mod and the patch together, just downloaded your mod for the elevators, building a tall structure sooooo tired of the ladders. Thank you!

The mod is working very nice, the new recipe for the backpacks makes for a more balanced play as well.

The bloomery full drop is not bad, since until they add a large functioning Kiln were we can do 20 or 30 bricks at a time or roof tiles, saves from the tedious task of firing them one at a time.

I'm still having the same issue as before, did you update the file that works with carry capacity as well?

Just as a precaution I will go in to my world empty the chests to ceramic pots, update the mod and hope for the best. . . the joys of modded games LOL.

I had the same behavior with the chests, and I also use many mods in my world. Can get you the list if you like.

Does it work with the mushrooms?

Yes! yes!, the lamp looks much more nice and natural. . . now we just need a dimmer that we can use with the "clapper" as well to turn them on or off.

Now I have a reason to hunt those creatures, it would be nice they drop some kinda food, so we could make locust soup or salad LOL, the recipes are very nice and balanced, specially the battery one.

The balancing of the loot table was long overdue. . . thank you.

And as a woos player I leave the harder drifters to more brave Vintarians.

I have that mod also installed, I was also thinking about a thatch roof, a block made with hay or bamboo, stairs and slabs would do, and it would be great for an animal pen or just a prairie settler house,  The chandelier in brass or copper would look great, add silver to it and up the light level to make it premium. A way to connect several torch holders together and make an old stile castle round chandelier would be great for ambiance. we also need a block like the neatherrack so we can make proper fireplaces. . .  LOL all in good time.

This collection of simple things makes life so much easier in the game, can the torch holder recipe be modified to use copper or bronze or brass, so we can have different variations, I also find the recipe a bit expensive, maybe a plate and an iron fence would balance it a bit, just my thoughts on it. thanks for all your hard work and for sharing !

It would be great that there would also be Goblins you could trade with, for unique items that only Goblins can make, like some ceramic, statues or gold ingots or clothing just to add more than just another enemy.
