I would keep the setting on if it didn't lag my game, and also not leave so many floating leafs behind. Also would be nice if tree seeds could drop from this (not guaranteed but much higher chance than chopping trees do since no wood or sticks are gained), so that you can try replanting some of the forest.

Learned that it's a bad idea to have lightning causes fire on. Was wondering why my game was getting so laggy. The devastation a couple lightning strikes from a thunder storm caused to my closest forest. Luckily I already managed to get a bee farm started before the fire destroyed that wild hive. RIP bees and most of that forest.
